Advantages of a Tire Rotation

Each tire on your vehicle wears at a different rate than the next one. This is due to several factors, one of which is the drivetrain in the vehicle, If a vehicle is front-wheel drive, the tires on the front will wear faster than the tires on the back. If the vehicle is rear-wheel drive such as sports cars, the tires on the rear will wear faster than the ones on the front. Cornering will also have an effect on which tire(s) wear more than others. 
Having the tires periodically rotated allows for tires to be more evenly worn, which over time can save you money on tires. 

How Often Should Tires Be Rotated?
